I have to say I drew COMPLETE inspiration from these two. I have been very RIGID in my characters lately, they are very stiff and I am trying to break that up. These 2 both have a very organic fun style. I highly recommend everyone check them out.

Honestly I dont care if I do or do not win this contest. I have alot going on getting ready for upcoming conventions and I have been just REALLY enjoying doing work lately. I love the new techniques and people I am meeting, Alot has been going on and its just wonderful.

It's nice, thought the logotype itself could be little more in evidence. The illustration was great.

thats actually a pretty good idea. I have some friends that were GD majors...i dont know why i never thought to ask. I suppose i worry about pestering people.

If you are a designer, or a photographer or a typer, you don't have to do everything or master everything.
You can master what you can, and encourage others to complete your work with that part you can't manage. Both sides win! Good luck!

Stupid touch screen. What I was going to finish saying was that this makes a good piece without the logo too. And those guys are fuckin awesome. Their work is so fluid it's bananas.

I KNOW their work is crazy. I have a shit load of great artists listed on my blog and some sites. there is alot more of these fluid and retro guys on there.

HEY I gotta thank you for finding this contest and the website. Was it Sarah Y that found it originally? I was worried you were gonna be think I was macking on your idea. I wont lie..I really think yours is gonna win because is straight forward, cute and memorable. its more of a logo where...mine is a illustration (fail)

I was debating on posting it without the text...cuz me and text get along like cats and olive oil.
